Priscilla goes to Fontana High School. She came into the studio with lots of energy and a smile that made all of us smile right along with her! She was really fun to photograph, and was up for trying lots of ideas and poses. Her mom and sister came along, and they were so [...]

Good Golf!

We were lucky enough to be the photographers yesterday for the Inland Valley Council of Churches annual golf tournament held at the Sierra LaVerne Country Club. The proceeds benefit the work of the Council of Churches, which provide services for homeless and low-income people, about half of whom are kids.
The celebrity who was there [...]

We had a terrific time photographing 10 couples before they went to their prom. We all met on Saturday at a park close to our studio. We are still getting the proofs ready of the great couples, and we got a wonderful group photo. Here’s a photo of the parents making sure they got some [...]

So today and tomorrow I am in S.F. attending the Professional Photographer’s of California board meeting. It’s great to meet other people in our profession from all over California. I’m really excited that Tim Meyer is coming to our local photographer’s association to speak at our meeting on April 18th! Tim is one of the best photographers I have ever met. I studied with him for a whole week, and that experience has made me a much better photographer. His topic will be “Creative [...]

It’s Magic!

So last night I watched “The Prestige.” What a terrific film! Without spoiling anything, it’s about magic, how people perceive reality, etc. There is a great cast, including Scarlett Johansson (probably my current favorite actress since she starred in “Lost in Translation.”)
The film gave me the creeps at times, which I loved! You will, too, [...]
